Town and Gown 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk

Registration
- 5K entry fee: $15 for children 13 and under, $25 for 14 and older. Beginning September 16, the entry fee will increase to $35 for all ages.
- 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk Entry Fee: $10 for all ages; runners, run/walkers, and walkers are welcome. There is no charge for small children in strollers.
- 5K and 1-Mile Route Map
- Online registration is available at Alumni.IllinoisState.edu/run until October 2 at 4:30 p.m. Once online registration closes, participants may register in person at the Alumni Center (1101 N. Main St.)
- Mail in registration is also being accepted. Please complete the PDF registration (1 per person) and send it to ISU Alumni Relations Town and Gown 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk Campus Box 3100 Normal, IL 61790-3100
- Register in person at the Alumni Center Monday- Friday from 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
- Register the day of the race on Saturday, October 5 from 7–7:45 a.m. at the Student Fitness Center (347 S. University).
Packet Pick-Up
- Friday, October 4 from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the Alumni Center or Saturday, October 5 from 7:00 – 7:45 a.m. at the Student Fitness Center.
Prizes
- Prizes will be awarded to the overall 5K male and female winners, as well as the top three male and female finishers in each age division: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over, and overall male and female wheelchair racers
Shirts
- 5K participants who register by September 16th will receive a short sleeve dri-fit shirt and a race packet.
- All 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk participants will receive a cotton t-shirt.
Other Information
- The 5K run and the 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk will begin outside the Student Fitness Center and end on the Quad. Routes can be found at Map Downloads.
- 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk begins immediately after the 5K start.
- There will be two water stops during the 5K run and refreshments available afterwards for all run/walk participants, courtesy of the Town of Normal.
- The 5K will be chip timed, courtesy of It’s Race time, Inc.
- No pets please.
- Sorry, no refunds.
- Parking is available in the South University Street Parking Garage
